I follow golf pretty closely. In my younger days, I worked tournaments for all three major networks. The Tour is playing an event in Jackson this week. I looked at the field and I don't recognize the vast majority of players. Sam Burns is the only "name" player in the field imo.

There's three former Major winners and a the best amateur in the world from 2019.

56 players are currently over par and have finished over par. More evidence of the strength of the field.
