Before I start, I'll state for the record that I scanned the 1st 2 pages of the Rant, and didn't see that this topic had been discussed. That being said, am I the only one who was embarrased by so many LSU fans leaving Tiger Stadium early on Saturday? That was ridiculous.

The CBS crew, which has no reason to slam LSU, commented a few times about the early exodus out of Tiger Stadium. Imo, that really looks bad and reflects negatively on the LSU fanbase.

I only get to go to one or two games a year, but we NEVER leave early. Seriously, what has happened to LSU fans, that so many can't even stick it out until the game is over? When LSU came back within 7 pts. at one time during the 4th quarter, the announcer even joked, "I wonder how many people are listening on their transistor radios in the parking lot?"

Like I said, that was embarrassing. LSU only plays 7 or 8 home games a year. You'd think the fans could at least stay for 4 quarters. That's a joke.

Wow, not this shite again.

If your embarrassed, then get your arse in the stadium and stay the whole game. Don't bitch and complain when your sitting your happy arse on your recliner.

This is not the first time it happened. It will not be the last time it happens. And LSU is not the only school where it happens.

I have a new policy. The opponent hangs half a hundred in our house and I'm out.

It has been discussed, but no you are not the only one who was embarrased. Most were leaving in the 3rd quarter too. It is really embarrising to have about 50,000 people in a stadium that fits almost 93,000 going into the 4th quarter. The game was not yet over yet.

It WAS embarrassing and we DO have THE most ridiculous fan base in ALL of college football. I'm completely convinced of it. However, this is... :beatdeadhorse:

You should of been around during the Curley years while only about 3/4 of the stadium was full at the beginning of the game.
LSU fans a the same as 95% of the fans around the country. I know they like to think they're better, but in reality not much different.

No, and here come all of the little pussies with the "I paid for my ticket, I can leave when I want pal" excuses. Clearly a case of a fanbase becoming spoiled, my 8 year old and 2 year old were able to man up and deal with the sun in their faces for 4 quarters for frick sake regardless of the score. Terrible

You think LSU fans stayed till the end during all those blowouts in the 90s? I remember Miami destroying us at home and not more than a handful of fans stayed. We were spoiled in the 80s and 90s, too?

Find another excuse why fans leave early.

I get there at 7am and drink and cook all day. When I get in the stadium and the team performs like they did, I'm fricking ready to go home. I don't give a frick who get's mad. I'm not staying and watching that shite.

PS..I'll never leave before the 4th Quarter.

There are two sides of this.

1. People buy their tickets and can do whatever they want.

2. Leaving early makes the univerity look bad.

I side with two but its a pointless arguement because you will not change the people with the mind set stated in 1.

As a season ticket holder I firmly believe that I have the right to leave when I damn well please.

I left after the SECOND int for a TD by Lee. I couldn't bare to watch another second of my Tigers allowing 52 points at home.

I keep thinking that some will give up their tickets and then I can move our tickets to what we consider a better location!

(oh, we don't leave early ... ever!)
