Obviously not a LSU fan, but I imagine the vibes will be relatively chill and accepting amongst both fanbases. Two fanbases of storied SEC programs that love the sport of college football. We rarely get to play each other and we share common enemies within the conference. Plus on the recruiting front generally speaking we don't even compete for the same prospects. We both fish in different waters. A strong LSU benefits Tennessee since y'all play Florida and Alabama every year.

I'm sure it'll be passionate on both sides once the ball kicks and bullets start flying. But in my experience with LSU fans in Knoxville, Tennessee and LSU fans get along very amicably. Swamp coonasses and hillbilly mountain folks have a lot in common. It's SEC football: just have fun and be a good sport and everyone will be just fine.

This is the right answer. I live in Nashville and say all the time, I want TN to be consistently good. Y'all play BAMA and FL every year just like we do. So it is beneficial for both teams if we make those games difficult. I expect the fan bases to get along pretty well considering its a big game and its early in the AM.

I can pull for TN as long as they aren't playing the Tigers!
