Maybe ATM? Their D is one of the best in the country and far better than FSU. You can argue numbers if you want but we’re 4 games in. Remember Vandy being ranked 11th in D early 2020? How’d that end up for them? The other teams I mentioned have more talent and have played better comp. Tenn held Pitt and Florida to under 4ypc, Florida handled Utah plus those Ds are easily good enough to beat us if we can’t keep up with them offensively.

I’m not arguing that they are. And you’re right A&M is a really good defense I shouldn’t have undersold them. My point in this is that people keep saying “when LSU plays better defenses then Daniels will be exposed” and I just don’t see that many better defenses than some of the teams they’ve already played.
I mean one of the teams people mention to be better is Arky which literally has the worst pass defense in the country.
