re: Boat captain charged in fatal parasailing trip off Florida Keys

year 2000 on the west coast of Malaysia, I committed to doing a parasail and when my turn came, the boat driver looked me over and said not today, not enough wind. I apparently was over weight for his rig.

The very next person was a young Japanese woman, who was lifted right up for an enjoyable ride. When time to return her to the beach, wind shifted and she landed in the top of a coconut palm tree. Took about eight people to get her down.
