Should Jarrett Lee have been redshirted last year?

or should he have been given some snaps in a live game against some of the lesser teams to get a feel for the college game?
Even if it was after a blowout...
say after the la tech game, or the va tech game?
is there a point to keeping a QB for 5 years now?
I know Matt Flynn was a RS Senior, but he wouldn't have if Jamarcus wouldn't have been at LSU and performed like he did his junior year.
Chris Garrett, and Russell Shepard are coming to LSU next year. So LSU is going to have 5 QB's on the roster?

He definitely should have been red shirted. Keep in mind, that Perilloux was expected to be the starter this year. Therefore, this could/should have been a year for Lee to get mop up duty to gain experience, and he could have kept an extra year of eligibility.

Kind of the position LSU is in with JJ right now. Need some experienced QB's.

Flynn and R.P. needed all the snaps they could get. We did win a BCS Championship.

i think everyone knows RP was always going to be a question mark
and lee had to redshirt, i believe, b/c he's just super, super raw
