Yeh USC is more so the norm, QBs won’t succeed in nfl. Purdue is the crazy exception to the rule

Wut?

He was the starter for the Detroit Lions but kept getting injured. He was even slated to start as a rookie and this was 1989 but he got injured in the preseason.

We were coached by clueless Clay Helton, so despite some real talent, he had no idea how to deploy it. Darnold led a drive down the field with less than 2m remaining for a tying FG, and in 2OT the D forced a fumble with the Horns on SC’s doorstep to set up a game winning FG. He was a really good CF QB, but that doesn’t always translate to “good NFL QB”
