I don’t know if it’s because I’ve become lazier and don’t want to drag them, or if it’s because I’ve become smarter, but I now clean most of my deer where they fall unless I can drive my truck close. Debone in the field and walk out with my meat in trash bags. Saves a ton of time in the long run.
