Yep to second quote.

Max protect didn’t work in 2018. Protection provided by making the defense rush fewer and defend more is much better than adding additional blockers to who aren’t good at blocking.

Depends on your quarterback.

With Joe you’re right. Joe processed quickly. Recognized blitzes and got the ball out quickly and accurately.

Jaden has been struggling to find the open man and has made some mistakes on reading the coverage. 5 man routes aren’t going to help a qb who struggles to get to the third option. So get him some extra blocking 2 quick routes and a deep option let him scan quick and take off if it’s not there.

Football isn’t one size fits all. What was good for Joe isn’t going to be good for every QB.
