But it was “manly” fashion, wasn’t it? I don’t recall it being an openly gay magazine until more recently.
Same thing with Mens Health. Wasn’t an outwardly gay magazine until recently.

Never subscribed but it always seemed to me that GQ was the high end version of Maxim, like playboy was to hustler.
