It's not unfair because Miles acheived more with Saban's players than Saban did. Do you need me to put those stats too. You say it's unfair...OK. Forget about Saban's 1st two years....Fair enough? Miles 1st 3 years were still better than Saban's last 3 years. Another thing, LSU fired a 33-24-1 coach for 35-24-1 coach that lost 45-26 to the one that was fired. Big risk there. Dinardo, Watts, and Reeves could have very well accomplished what Saban did with the Clayton/ Spears class comimg to LSU regardless. Dinardo/Watts/Reeves were the coached that woke the sleeping giant. Dinardo/?/Tepper allowed the giant to doze off and Saban and the Clayton/Spears class re-awoken it. Dinardo was 26-9-1 and was still bringing in players like Bradie James, Trev Faulk, but Tepper's defensive schemes made 9-10 win teams into 4-3 win teams so Saban did not take over a program in shambles. LSU had very good talent when Saban arrived. LSU made Saban more than Saban made LSU. So to claim my arguments are unfair or dumb, you need to either quit pretending Saban came into a hopeless situation or compare Saban's last 3 years to Mile's 1st 3 years. I think I'm being fair and the pro-Sabans are the ones being unfair.
