serious question how are any of these the coaches fault?

this happens in the nfl and college...pretty sure every coach tells the returner to stand on 10 and don't go backwards but they still do it

It’s called coaching. A mistake here or there and it’s the player. Mistakes in every phase means coaching. Dog shite coaching.

Its his job to make sure all the players understand and do their job. it'd be one thing if it was one guy messing up here or a missed tackle there. Its not. Our coverage units are all over the place giving up huge lanes, our FG team wasn't even coached basic blocking principles that JV teams know. We have returners jumping into crowds to down a ball that was basically stopped.

To put it simple, if one guy messes up, its on the player. If Everyone messes up, its on the coach.

We have watched really good special teams for the last 5 years, when properly coached our athletes have proven they can be dangerous on special teams.

I'm not even asking for dangerous, just not being a liability would suffice.

if this happens more than 0 times, then that player should be replaced for someone who can take coaching.
