Hence the word, "seemingly."
However, just playing the percentages, this was almost certainly a random carjacking or robbery attempt.

Not necessarily replying to your post. Just wanted to post this. Saw it on twitter.
Also, not that it matters, just curious—was she recently blond or brunette? I’m guessing blond because of the memorial pic. Either way, she really is a beautiful girl, and from all accounts sounded like a great person too. & had just landed a job in marketing (her major) with the American Dermatology Association. Seems like she had a bright future. Such a shame :(
