Witness to LSU student’s death: “Still somewhat in shock realizing what happened”
I think this answers the question about whether BRPD is interested in finding the murderer or not.
quote:
“Someone is dead and me being the only witness could easily help figure out who did it or why they did it. I mean it would make Baton Rouge safer to have someone who killed someone off the streets. It didn’t seem like a concern to BRPD to hurry up and get back in touch with me. It just makes Baton Rouge feel unsafe.”
quote:
“They need to do better. With this specific case, with me and my friend being the only witnesses there, it was very shocking to me that when I called BRPD Friday morning, the person told me she couldn’t help me and she would transfer me,” said the witness. “When I got a hold of someone, they told me he was an assistant and that someone would call me back. Hours went by and no one called me so I called Crime Stoppers. They took down the information and I never heard from anyone again.”
quote:
Friday afternoon, the witness and his family reached back out to BRPD when he finally got a hold of someone.
I think this answers the question about whether BRPD is interested in finding the murderer or not.

If he had said he saw two white guys, instead of what he said, they would have been all over him and this would be front page news.

Baws... I am fuming right now. I didn't think I could get more angry than I already was. What in the actual frick is going on with BRPD? A witness calls in hours after a high profile murder with crucial information and they just sit on it!? If the local media does not hammer the frick out of this and if Murphy Paul isn't forced to resign over this, I have no hope. How can he defend that? How can anyone defend that? How can the media not completely destroy the BRPD and mayor with questioning and answer demands after learning this?

And that proves why 2A is the most important, sacrosanct, God given right of all.

BRPD is a lost cause. Absolute worthless

That's more than just a little bit disturbing on so many levels.
