what do you think happens to your clubs when you ship them? They go onto an airplane
Only risk you run checking them is them not making it to your destination when you do. I've flown with my clubs plenty and have never had any issues whatsoever with damaged clubs

I use to use a hard case and they broke the locks off of them coming back from Grand Cayman.
I use a club glove soft case now and never had an issue since it has plenty of protection.
