, if you know anything about football, that a Freshman would struggle this year.
I continue to see quotes like this-- There have been some who have succeeded.
Who are some that come to mind?

What SEC team with a Heisman QB that struggled with 4 losses?
We can throw irrelevant stats all day long!

What is the definition of 'success'? Going undefeated?

Tommy Hodson was a RsFR and led us to the SEC title in 1986.Now,with that said,I'm behind Lee and the loss was a group effort/lack of.
Still, freshman or not,I wouldn't want a HS jr standing there like he's at the county fair aiming a dart at a balloon. And the throwing off the back foot is a coaching problem.Sure,Lee is doing it,but he's been doing it all year.
Tulane isn't a conference game, but this really could be what the doctor ordered.

Take it lightly - we lose ULM????
Let it overbuild your confidence-=- we lose to AL
Let it be what it is - a game we should win, a good scrimmage were we can work on our weaknesses and improve- and we may have a chance to turn our team around-- that is a big MAY

Chris Leak
Herb Tyler
David Greene
I'm sure I could name a few more.

Huh?
UGA was 8-4 in 2001 with Greene as a freshman. Not horrible of course, but isn't that the type record many LSU fans are saying would be a complete disaster season?
