I’ve tried the iron condors the past two trading days and made about $100 per condor, while exiting in the first two hours of the day. Could have reached the $150 target if I had just held on longer, but still getting to learn the lay of the land and want to play it cautious for a while. I am overall bearish for the next few months so may just do half a condor with a bearish call spread some days if the market feels spooky to me.
I don’t think I’m gonna trade these on Fed days or CPI days, maybe I’ll do a reverse iron condor those trading days haha.

I wonder if on the FED, CPI days it would actually make sense to long the iron condor in the morning and sell before the presser/statements. It actually going to try this, just thinking out loud.

The SPX short call vertical (4040/4065) expiring 11/30 got too close for comfort on Friday. I rolled that one up and out to a synthetic strangle (4120/4250) expiring 12/9 for substantially more credit. Of course the market has turned down this week and it would have been safe. But no point in risking it and that new 4120 short call should be safe. The 4060/4090s got close and I had up and out rolls loaded, but didn’t execute them.
Also have jade lizards on CRM going into earnings: 130P—167.5/177.5C expiring 12/2.
Several other open SPX SCVs and synthetic strangles expiring tomorrow. Right now everything there looks totally safe, so I’ll just let them expire. Opened and opening more SPX positions for 12/9 expiration. Short option trades on SPX have been great money makers for the past month or so.

I’m in some DIS 95 Ps, Friday ex at .90 , long I’m guessing because I bought them. Had it for a double today but decided to roll it into tomorrow and go for some gusto. Only a gnarly open and a run can kill me so I’m feeling pretty good.

Those DIS puts might still print for you by Friday. But this sudden turnaround rally is lifting all boats today. For once, Powell woke up this morning and did not choose violence. The hawk is sounding more like a baby chick right now. 
Although they’re recovering a little now, I got slammed on some CRWD 119 strike naked puts I sold right before the close yesterday. But the covered calls I may have to sell look fairly juicy, so maybe the trade will turn out OK in the short term. And that’s a stock that I’m content to carry in inventory for awhile.
And the CRM jade lizards that I sold could get tested on the call spread side if they beat earnings. This rally has popped that stock by about 4%!

Thankfully I rolled the 4040/4065 SCVs last Friday. That puppy would now be ITM! Now I’ve got to watch the 4060/4090 SCVs that I left on. If this rally gets much sillier in the next hour, those could get tested too!
