so now they want to call a meeting on this...
they need 50% of principals to force a meeting... they won't get that as only a small group of schools are unhappy they're in Select. Nonselect schools won't agree to a meeting, as are also schools that will always be Select
Either way they'll meet again in January so just suck it up for one football season. For a lot of these teams, them being in Select or Nonselect won't make a measurable impact on their chances to win a state championship

The principals are the reason we have this mess to start with.
But I will say changing the interpretation of select should require a membership vote, not just exec.

That article is littered with factual errors.
Regardless of the substance of the issue, the LHSAA put schools on notice back in April that this issue was coming to a head and zero principals showed up the June meeting to have their voices heard.
There are a lot of problems with the LHSAA but a major issue is that the vast majority of principals and ADs across the state have no understanding the Constitution and bylaws and don’t pay any attention what happens throughout the year … then they scream “unfair” when changes occur.
