Pretty much. It's one of maybe two or three times I recognized the songs.

One of the best I've ever seen, last year was horrible...they played the latin tribute thing about 5 times.

Looks like they were experiencing some wardrobe trouble with Indiana Mike, he didn't make it out until the show was over.

yeah... it was a lot better than the band playing Chicago's greatest hits. Seems like they do that every year.

the only reason they did so well is because they got paid $25K for it.

I heard since they won all that money, they will use the proceeds to buy $5 dollar footlongs from Subway in an effort to save LSU money on their 3rdQ sandwiches. With 300 members, each member of the Golden Band from Sandwichland can get a footlong for each of the next 83 games or 6 years (rounded down to include SEC title games and bowl games). I heard in another attempt to raise money for the new band hall, they are changing their name from "the Golden Band from Tigerland" to "the Golden Band presented by Subway." Sort of like the student section presented by Jack in the Crack. We needed Tiger Rag more than ever after either pick six. But they're too worried about being PC than helping the team win the game.

You did a great job. The costumes looked great... Very creative.

Too bad he took so long getting the Indiana Mike on.. He was like 5 minutes late. The other wardrobe change went smooth.

How much do you get paid to not play Tiger Rag? How much is that scholarship up to?

I bet you can buy alot of sandiwichs with the scholarship money to last you through the semester.....

but it was the best performance in Tiger Stadium since Lee Greenwood

yep you got me. I'm a UGA fan....sick 'em. the flagship must really be working. you guys are too smart. I'll call our chancellor and tell him to start at flagship at uGA.

Look at any of my other posts......I'm an LSU and Tiger Rag fan. My real beef is with the band admin who needs to quit worrying about being PC and work with the students, fans, and team to do anything necessary to help the team win. if it means Tiger Rag, if it means "you suck," if it means banging the instruments on the bleechers while yelling (to create more noise) while the team is on D, they need to do it. they need to change their attitude of "we're more important than football." 6 days out of the week they may be, but when we're in Death Valley, they need to do what it takes to intimidate the other team and make them realize they're leaving with an ugly SEC loss.
