I’d venture either this or she thought she heard racial slurs, which is just a degree of making something up.

Likely this. You get radar ears and hear what you want to hear when you’re getting beat in front of a relatively large, loud crowd that’s right on top of you.

When you live your life searching for ways to be "oppressed" or a "victim"...you find ways to be such...even if none exists.

In a world where cameras are ubiquitous, gaining attention on social media is paramount, and finding anything that can be attributed as an act of "racism"...no matter how tenuous the connection, is "noteworthy", it is quite telling there is not a shred of evidence corroborating the account of the player (actually her relatives...who weren't at the game). Not one.

The school investigated the allegations. The police investigated the allegations. A campus newspaper (something not know as a bastion of conservatism) investigated the allegations more thoroughly than every other news outlet COMBINED and came up with nothing, nada, zip, to corroborate that this MAY have happened...let alone did.

Of course, for the mainstream media and agenda-driven leftists NONE of that matters. "Truth" is abstract and facts are irrelevant. The "truth" is only what someone says it is.
