You can easily do five cities in two weeks, just tailor your expectations. The Spanish are very nice people but they do NOTHING with any speed or efficiency. Train and planes leave late all the time. Once I was on a train leaving BCN at 4:20 for down the coast. It didn't move for 20 minutes, and they literally came over the intercom and basically said "f*** it, this is now the 5:20 train, just stay aboard". Still no motion until 5:40 and we finally rolled. We also paid to sit up front last time on Iberia and my wife's seat wouldn't recline on the overnight flight.
The AVE train is a bit better than normal and probably the best way to get between major metro areas.
For a honeymoon, San Sebastien might be a great place to start or end your week. Two bays, a charming old town, mountains, and a castle.
