It is partially his fault, because if he is able to hit the hot reads from wherever the blitzer is coming, then it would slow down the blitz. A good QB can make an offensive line look good. Also, knowing how to maneuver inside a pocket is a skill he doesn’t seem to possess. Also, a QB should help his linemen identify blitzers. Also, Daniels had checkdowns that he didn’t use at all.

It’s popular to blame offensive linemen, but frequently it is the QB. There were some line breakdowns, but Daniels made them look much worse than they were. If he remains the starter, there are a lot of mistakes that he will need to correct.
