According to Glenn Gilbeau, Alem made following postgame statements:

1. "There were two touchdowns we couldn't do anything about." "Another one led to three points" "Everybody has turnovers, but when you throw two interceptions for touchdowns, its hard to come back from that."

2. "We're young in the secondary" "We've had a few key injuries in the defensive line. Those are the two biggest things".

3. "I wish I could comment on the schemes we're playing, but I just do my job."

OUCH! He may be in Miles' doghouse for this, especially calling out the defensive coordinators. Yet, I don't know if anyone will disagree with him.

Alem appears to be the only stud we have on D.

Alem is probably the only guy we have that puts any pressure at all on opposing quarterbacks.

He also might be a little pissed that his little bro is spending a lot of time on the pine behind burnt toast McCray. As am I.

If that is even true, is it his fault? They all look confused.

And McCray can? My biggest surprise that hasn't seen enough time is Francois. He was extremely impressive in the AA game and nothing thus far.

I am not a basher but to me it really seems as our players are not coached well on the defensive side of the ball. Maybe I am wrong but they have looked confused all season long!

That leaves him on equal ground with Coleman and Taylor. At least his ability would allow him to make up some ground that #44 can't.

What about Patrick Peterson, the guy seems to be a pretty sure tackler, but I don't think he has been very good covering anybody this season.

I doubt he said it so bluntly. I bet the question was, "What are your thoughts on the defensive schemes this year?" or something like that and the quote is his reply.

He was the one bright spot yesterday. He is a froshman, so he has an excuse for a few screw ups.

I think R.A. is right on the money in what he said. Wouldn't you be a little pissed if you gave up more than 100 points in two games?

Here is hoping Miles hires a real D.C. next year.

I doubt that. He seemed to be ranting and let that one fly.
