The disease that is neoconservatism had most Republican voters in 2008 and 2012 thinking he was. Hell, go on YouTube and watch Dr. Paul on the Morton Downey show back in the late 1980's and you'll see just how far removed from limited government the average Reagan Republican was.

Most in this thread don't realize how much the LP has changed since 2020. Total revolution. Jo Jorgenson nor Gary Johnson/Bill Weld would have a chance at winning the nomination today.
