Are you going to Vienna? That is my fa favorite city east of France and Italy.
In fact if you have three days, I would spend it in Vienna and do Salzburg as a day trip. I love Salzburg but the major sites can be seen in a few hours.

It's one of those places that on my deathbed I'll have been happy I saw and experienced.
Salzburg: the Mozart Museum, Sound of Music sites, all the Churches, monasteries, Hellbrunn Palace, eat local, drink local.
It's a good place to be.
