sn't is normally rainy during the summer months along the Gulf Coast?

yea pop up showers in the afternoon
Usually 30-40% chances daily

Not 60-70% chances weeks at a time

Probably will be 2nd rainiest on record behind 2016 for many areas in South LA without there being some kind of tropical system

will be records broken in North LA

Looking at only the main observation site for the BR area:

Last year was wetter than this year to date, by a large margin. To date this year, that area is still 7.30" below Normal.

Across the same time period last year, the area was 22.24" above Normal for rainfall.

Every single month of 2022 has seen less rainfall than the same month of last year.
