I'm not arguing for or against brady as the GOAT, but I think longevity is why he has those passing records. Not saying longevity should be discounted either. I'd imagine montana, marino, elway, and young's stats would look much different in the no-touch-qbs-and-WRs league we're in today.

So let's look at those rings...I'm not going to research the years but football fans will know what I am talking about
1. Ring 1 - In the playoffs he stinks it up against Oakland and then fumbles away the game.... only wait... Tuck rule
2. Seattle SB - Seattle has the ball on the 2 with best mode in the back field... Goes brain dead and throws an INT
3. The ATL SB - Again he stinks it up for 3 quarters... If the ATL kneels 3 times and punts throughout the 4th quarter no ring
4. I could even stretch it to include the Carolina SB with Jake D... Jake ties it up with like 40 seconds only to have his kicker kick out of bounds giving him a short field.... Agreed this one is a stretch
Now let's look at Drew Brees
1. San Francisco 2011 - Pierre Thomas gets knocked out early in the game... We go down by 17, Drew brings us back... Down by 7 Drew brings us back... Down by 4 Drew brings us back to take the lead with 40 seconds left... Our brain dead DC decides to all out blitz and leave Roman Harper (who I could out run) on a TE who runs a 4.3 40....
2. Minny Miracle - 3rd toughest venue to play in and again we go down by 17... Drew brings us back and again we have the game in hand until... well you know
3. The No Call.... nuff said
No compare the Divisions.... In the NFC South each team has been to the SB during Drew's tenure with many multiple playoff appearances... The AFC East.... Buffalo... J-E-T-s.. Miami.. during his tenure made 7 combined PLAYOFF appearances.. forget the SB.... Sort of like comparing the SEC East and West
Historically bad defense in one year and simply bad defenses in other years during Drew's tenure... Brady has top ten defenses
Yes rings are TEAM awards.... but the talking heads attribute them to the golden boy
Tommy has proven to have the longevity side of the argument hence he has overtaken Drew in the all time stats...
Look Cam Jordan said it best.... Tommy is one hell of a QB.. Probably the second best of all time
