Who covers a brand new AC unit if you went through a home warranty company?
Would it still be covered under the manufacturer even if you drop the home warranty when it expires?

quote:Yes, as long as it's within the limited or extended warranty term specified by the manufacturer.

Some warranties are only for the original homeowner and do not convey to the new buyer. That would be explained in the manufacturer's warranty terms.
