Rewatchable

The Prestige

Probably my vote for best movie of the 2000s in terms of entertainment and quality.

But...there's something about some movies that are Shawshank small, claustrophobic... Intimate... Quotable... Don't get me wrong, The Prestige is strangely rewatchable despite knowing the reveal...

I've said here the real magic trick is how rewatchable the movie is. But you have to put in more effort than Shawshank and Goodfellas and Training Day where it feels you're just along for the ride, popping in and out of the movie while doing stuff at home.

Sorry sir, this is a Coen Brothers circle jerk of the highest order. Now whip it out and get ready to jerk off the man to your right because y’all alone “get” what the Coen Brothers did when filming “No Country for Old Men.”
