You mean the three cars in the parking lot at most any hour? One of which must be a chef, one of which is somebody probably living in the back, and one for the host/waiter?
I haven't been in years to be fair, but of what I remember, it wasn't even remotely Grant Street-San Francisco, when last tried..one of the batches wasn't even edible.
I'm gonna go in the next two weeks and give them another try, as I love dim sum if done right.

I went to school with his kids. That was by far the best ever in BR. He pretty much brought the rest over from China and most of those still around in business worked for him at one time or another.

Little Saigon, Pho Q, Cafe Dang, and Duang Tawan, all of which are hit-and-miss..and not Chinese.
But pretty good.

It is good. No buffet. I have been for lunch several times recently. Usually only one or two tables occupied, but the food is fresh and the portions good. It is certainly frequented by a largely Asian clientele, which I think is nothing but good. Not sure why they changed the name from Nankin to Dim Sum years ago, as dim sum does not really appear to be their thing.

Is Hunan back open yet? There were closed after bad roof damage during Gustav.
