Louisiana stats are skewed as such a significant percentage of kids go to private schools and their scores do not factor in those rankings.
In East Baton Rouge Parish, over 55% of high school kids are in private schools. BR has tons of good high schools but most are private (Catholic, St Josephs, Dunham, Parkview, Episcopal) or selective publics like U-High or BR Magnet. Zachary HS is also a great public high school in EBRP.
