victim mentality

Imagine working a job for 5 years and you have a better opportunity somewhere else, so you say you’re going to leave. Then the manager comes to you and says, “please don’t go, we need you.” Only for that same manager to lay you off 6 months later and the opportunity for the other job is gone.

Imagine not taking personal responsibility for decisions you make. Nobody forced him to stay at LSU.

Terrible analogy, BTW. Brennan wasn't cut, he just didn't WIN the job and decided to step away from football.

Also, like others have said, you have no clue how those discussions went, but yeah, let's blindly blame other people for our decisions that don't work out. That's victim mentality. It always someone else's fault.

Brennan also got many NIL deals to stay at LSU, so I'm assuming that had as much to do with his decision as anything Kelly said to him.

I suppose you'd prefer a coach that didn't play the best players regardless of tenure or history.

That is a horrible analogy lol. If someone is working and they are looking elsewhere it is for either a promotion or more money/benefits/pension. If that person decides to stay, it is bc the company decided to match or offer a better package to the person than the other company had offered.

In this case, Myles was not offered anything other than an opportunity to be the starting QB. Maybe Kelly told him he would bring in another QB. Maybe not. But ultimately the choice was for Myles to make and he made the choice to stay.

Myles was not “fired” and replaced by the new guy. He was not better. Plain and simple. Sorry you can’t understand that.

Not hating on Myles. I think he is a true Tiger. I wish he had not had his injuries he sustained. Wish him well in whatever he chooses to do. Maybe he will get into coaching and Kelly can help with that.
