I am sure it has nothing to do with huge lines I see at fast food joints. Nothing at all with the decline of the family structure and parents feeding their kids this crap as “food” instead preparing real meals at home

I watched a YouTube video of a woman re-enacting preparing meals in 1820. From gathering eggs, milking the cow, churning the butter, baking the bread, making Johnny cakes with cornmeal, all in cast iron over a fireplace. I thought to myself you know that’s really a lost art to actually prepare meals from scratch like that.
