Great watch, will be recognized by watch geeks and nobody else and has a special cache with them. If you like the minimalist style and willing to live with a manual wind (they don't bother me and the Lamda has over 80 hours of power reserve) it is a great watch. Wears a little large since it is all dial but it is very thin. Outside of an interesting vintage watch or a short list of high-end Swiss/German independents, Nomas and Grand Seiko are about the only brands I will stop a stranger to say nice watch because it is very likely they are a watch nut too.

It would be my first manual, but I think I would find that charming, especially in light of the absurd power reserve.

I keep telling myself that I don’t need it, but I’ve begun finding myself less and less convincing
