It's White's money year. He's already proven he can play 3B. He just needs to hit this year, whether that's at 3B, 1B, or DH. I think Jay will get the best guys in that he can, and decide who plays where later. But, again, he does have to consider that next year's decisions can impact the following year and beyond. If Braswell was still in the portal right now, I still think Jay would go after him - the question becomes whether he does still go after another MIF with Milam on campus and Braswell in the boat, and also whether he goes after a rental or a guy that will be here for a few years. I'll trust whichever he decides to do.

If MIF Luke Hill comes to LSU he has 2 years left before he's draft eligible.

Is nippolt competing for a spot this fall? candidate to get processed if we take Hill?

I agree about White. I really think he’s projected mostly at 1B from all the mocks I see. I personally really like Braswell. I think the bay needs to improve and it will under Jay, and I think he is an elite defender. I still think though that you have to recruit the best and let them compete for the spots though. I can see why people are saying the MIF is crowded and concerns of guys like Guidry or Milam staying, but Hill is the most proven at the plate so I would still say he should be a take.
