I think there used to be a lot of innocent black people who went to jail.

While I don't think there are as many innocent back people in jail today as people might want people to believe, in the past there have been a fair share of black people who have gone to jail, some even received the death penalty.

With that said, do you really want to get into the whole "well this was the result of this case so that should be the result of that case"?

There have also been many innocent white people who went spent many years in prison (just pointing out that I am not saying it was just innocent black people who went to jail, but there was a point when there were a lot more innocent black people in jail).
