The US Air Force also recently stated it designed, built, and successfully test flew a new 6th generation fighter - all within one year.
All while China has about 50-80 “in service” 5th gen fighters and Russia is also around there.
The US currently has ~180 F-22s and built 850+ F-35s for us and our allies.
I’m not too worried about force deployment.
I’m starting to doubt China’s ability to even take Taiwan. That requires invasion ships, aircraft, and a logistical supply network that I don’t see them successfully employing.

No. It flew a prototype with some of the tech that they want to incorporate into the new 6th generation fighter.
