Look, success is never guaranteed, but to say he's in over his head is pretty naive. He knows the job, and this franchise is his home franchise. Probably more than half of the traditional challenges a new coach faces (building a staff, inheriting bad players from a bad team, needing to install new schemes, dealing with moving and family issues, etc.) arent a factor here.

That said, if he fails, the seat might heat up a little quicker - but I dont see that happening.

100%

Being already a coach for years in the org. he doesn't get the "New Guy" pass. He got the job to be able to hit the ground running. Little room or time to fail.
