I love the dude from Houston bashing Colorado..you live in Houston bro. You're currently cooking like a tamale and live in one of the trashiest cities in the USA. What a joke!
Funny because Houston has more people than your barren arse state. Your logistics friendly airport saves your state from being an edgy Wyoming. Colorado is for midwesterners that see anything bigger than a hill for the first time.

Fort Collins also highly conservative

And Houston being overpopulated is a good thing? God you're dumb

This is very funny. I have lived in both, and consider them to be quite literally the exact opposites.
Houston is a great place to live, but a terrible place to visit. Denver is a great place to visit, but a sub par place to live.
You saying Houston is one of the trashiest cities in the USA shows that you're clueless, and on the same emotional wavelength as a 13 year old girl having her first period.

It's still on the wrong side of the continental divide for my liking.

Yes. And it’s fun to say: Pooder
I’ve lived in Colorado since mid 80s. There are a lot if hideaway spots that still offer some privacy but the crowds are killing the state.

Houston is thriving bro and we don’t need weed to get idiots to move here either.

Spent a couple weeks there via a couple business trips. I mean, the Denver area itself is brown, flat, and treeless. The Rockies look nice in the distance but the metro itself is extremely boring to look at.
The people gave off a very strange vibe. Ya'll give me shite for being some sort of commie....that city was soaking with pretentiousness, "weirdness", and arrogant younger folks. Like Portland, OR, has a lot of "weird" people, but there's no sense of pretentiousness there...they're just weird. Denver gave off an ingenuine weirdness...like "look at me!" kind of vibes.
Great beer, food, and weed, obviously. Ton of stuff to do in the mountains. Not my cup of tea but I can see the appeal for some folks.

Yes! Poooooooderrr! Went whitewater rafting on the Poudre few weeks ago. It was wild. Went tubing on the stretch of Gateway Natural area to Picnic rock . So cool but rough and rocky!

It’s funny how people state this kind of personal opinion as fact. I would loathe living in Houston, or basically anywhere in the south. I love living in denver. It’s a matter of preference. We don’t all value or seek the same things. Shitting on a place that isn’t your place is equally as lame as touting wherever your place is as the end all, be all of American civilization

Yall can have the cities, I'll take tiny town in Nebraska with the peace and quiet that comes with it.

One of my favorite spots. Love riding up through Longmont/Hygiene area to Horsetooth. Great roads not too crowded.
Golden has gotten out of control. It’s hard to get a traffic jam in a town of 20k but by god it happens.

I’m shitting on Denver because y’all act like it’s the only place in the entire world with mountains and rugged white people. Let alone, 40% of your state looks like Kansas but that’s a different topic lol.

I’ve gone that route other places and eventually the lack of women starts to drive me nuts and I go back to the city

I could move to the Sandhills.

Yeah but when you've been married a long time that ceases to matter much too. I don't want to live on a farm but any town with about 20k+ people has everything I care about in life these days.
