They’re not controlling it, just reading it remotely. And it’s more accurate. For some people that meant higher billers, lower for others.
I guess if you don’t pay, they can remotely disconnect your shite.

There's no reason to change your meter out. That's not the issue. Everybody's bills this summer have been fricking ridiculously high.
It's Entergy being greedy is the problem. And anybody who holds an official position in Louisiana who could actually do something about it doesn't give two shits about it. So we're all fricked (as usual) due to having corrupt politicians.

They're still going to put a revenue grade meter on, so nothing is going to change except they'll charge you for the pain in the arse.
