I bet most of the staff was about ready to quit anyway. In fact - they may have. I wouldn't put up with that for $12/hour.

Odds are this isn’t the only incident, just the first one reported in this fashion, maybe the worst one, but it's probably regular. If it was a one off incident, doubt they would have closed the pool permanently.

It is a liability for the management company and employees. Also how are they going to find lifeguards willing to go back and work there?
