"Full Synthetic" doesn't mean much in the US, the API doesn't even reference it anymore. IMO outside of the rare engines that require an extremely specific oil like the BWM S54B32 I owned or use an engine in severe/extreme duty regularly a good group III with a solid additive package is more than enough protection given reasonable drain periods to ensure when the vehicle dies it isn't from oil quality issues.
