Not necessarily, most of the time it means a more robust additive package.
If you want your truck to run better longer, get 100% synthetic. I’m not talking about “full synthetics” like royal purple, mobile, t6… etc those are only semi synthetic.
I’ve ran them all in different applications, hotshots secret makes the best by far, followed by amsoil.

Got a link to that? Both claim to be full synthetic and always have been as far as I know.
eta-Those additives can work wonders. The PS pump on my 1970 442 W30 was leaking a bit. Not unusual on a car that sits far more than driven for decades. Some Lucas PS fluid with the additives solved that problem.
