I mean after watching the doc it seems pretty obvious it’s rackstraw. How can you see the part about the Vietnam guy in his company deciphering the code he sent to police and not think so? He did work for the cia so they covered it up for him.

The biggest thing I took away from the documentary was how sad some of these peoples lives are that they’ve dedicated the majority of it to try to figure this out. It was 50 years ago just let it go

it was pretty clear the documentary was made to make out Rackstraw as DB Cooper and even still, some of their arguments were stretching. A lot of their evidence could seemingly fit a lot of people, just depends on who you wanna fit it to

Rackstraw is a terrible suspect. The flight attendant that sat next to DB Cooper for 5 hours said he didn’t look like Cooper and also said Cooper was in his mid 40s. Now keep in mind that Rackstraw was 29 and that this flight attendant was even lighting DB Cooper’s cigarettes for him. There’s a big difference in a mid 40s man and a late 20s man, it’d be really difficult for me to believe that DB Cooper was that young.

Easy, it's called not falling victim to confirmation bias

He stole $200,000, he didn't bring down the plane, who gives a shite? But just like the Alcatraz escapees who probably died people are obsessed because they found no body.

Well in the S.F. bay the current is so strong, you are simply swept out to deep sea for the Alcatraz guys.

And for Cooper, yeah they found no body but they didn't know where to look. They only found some of the decayed money 5 years later by some kid. Cooper's body could've decayed anywhere in the mountains by that point.

And if he did survive, jumping in the pitch-black night, in the rain, with a 172 mph wind in his face wearing loafers and a trench coat. Well good on him.

Rackstraw is too young to be DB Cooper. The 'code' stuff was laughable and exposed as such in the documentary.
