In my experience with surf fishing rods and reels as well as a freshwater reel, Okuma may be about as good a bang for the buck I have used. And it is not unusual to find them discounted. Okuma seems to much more popular along the west coast, based on what I've seen online.

Anyone have experience with their spinning reels? Looking at picking up a couple Epixors or ITXs to go on the DTR rods I bought
