I’d argue that a time constant of change of hundreds of years doesn’t impact our ability to convey ideas effectively within a generation, but changing definitions of words suddenly and discontinuously, with political motivations, is bound to create a deep schism in our ability to foster a debate because we won’t be able to communicate our ideas clearly. I think this has already happened with words like “violence” and “racism” and it’s only getting worse.

Watch Matt Walsh’s “What is a Woman”. We’ve already arrived at the point where people can’t define what a woman is.
