jesus! that was lower budget than some regular arse recreation games in Terrebonne Parish.
i remember a local radio guy bitching about lack of attendance.
Said "you know if the Saints (pre-Brees era) went on a playoff run, that dome would be full. So why isn't the Civic Center?"
dude legit could not fathom how an NFL team could ever draw more people than a mom and pop indoor team.
