Thus their disdain for firearms, especially rifles that can go pew pew a bunch like the government’s rifles can.

Think of all the corruption and tyranny America has experienced at the hands of the Federal Government since 1994. Citizens having guns didn't stop any of it. Heck, we just had a supposed 'stolen' election. Threat of Guns didn't stop that either. Not one single person on here has used their Gun to hold our Federal Government accountable and likely never will.
