I think that because a golf career is so long, someone will do it one day. There are guys who have that hot streak when they are young like Spieth, Rory, or Koepka, but they just do not sustain it. Someone eventually will.

Golf careers were a lot longer in Jack's day. Gary Player went twenty years between his first and last major. Nicklaus went twenty four years between his first and last major. Woods went twenty two but he is probably going to be the last to go twenty plus years winning majors. During Jack's day not only did he win majors in his 40s but so did Player, Trevino, Boros, Irwin, O'Meara, Floyd, Crenshaw, and Kite just off of the top of my head. Other than Tiger and Phil who has won a major in their 40s in the last decade or two? It used to be golfers were in the prime of their career when they were in their 30s. Now they are in the prime of their career in their 20s and are lucky if they have anything in their tank after they reach 35 or so. No one is getting close to 18 with the way golf is trending now. Hell, no one may get to 8 with the way the game has changed.

For every reason you gave to your point you immediately contradicted it.
