Yes. In my opinion, it's a matter of how serious you are about your game. If you are satisfied with just knocking it around and do not care about getting down to "scratch" or serious competition, then of-the-rack is fine.
With all the loft and grind options available, I'd get a fitting. They also work on your gapping and distances.
